Napa is one of my favorite places in the world. Just the mention of the word makes me happy. We got married here in California wine country 6 years ago so we always make a point to visit in May or as close to our anniversary as possible.
Because we come here a couple times a year (and even more so when we were planning our wedding), we’ve grown a love for a few of the wineries and come back to visit these same ones every time. But I decided I wanted to try a couple new places this time around. Of the few we visited, I completely fell in love with Hall Wines.
Right off the busy Highway 29 in St. Helena, it doesn’t look like much when simply driving by. But pull up to its long driveway and you start to see that there is so much more to its cover. The grounds are beautiful and the wines are very delightful – that is the ultimate winning wine country combination. It is the place you want to settle for a few hours, enjoy the landscapes of lush vineyards and breathtaking Mayacamas Mountain views, and catch the contagious spirit of cheerful wine tasters. There is a huge lawn, appropriately called the Great Lawn, decked with comfy seats and plenty of space for little ones to run around (important for us!). And if you’re an art lover, the estate features the work of many well-known artists. Something for everyone!

As for the outfit – another floral dress…surprise surprise! I don’t even think I realized I packed so many florals…and so much pink! Oops. Its my subconscious saying I should always were my favorite color and prints. 🙂 This maxi shirtdress from Banana Republic is so perfect for travel. It is ankle length which pairs well with flip flops, which is all I wear when we I travel. I always have to wear heels or wedges with maxi dresses so I really appreciate it when brands make dresses with shorties like me in mind.

I got a size 2! I also tried the size which fit but I thought it was just a bit too short so I sized up. I'm 5'5" 🙂
