I wanted to start off today’s post with some inspiration that really spoke to me this week. Most weeks I’m running a million miles a minute to just survive and not get behind in my task list. But I forget the bigger picture or the end goal of all I do. This message from Maya Angelou made me realize I should the slow down and enjoy the moments with people around me (compassion), deliberate in my content (passion), amusement in ?? (humor), and of course, authenticity in my personal expression (style). I hope it inspires you too!
As for the outfit – Isn’t this moto jacket so cute? This more modern and chic version of a blazer is my current go to for Spring. I love wearing it dresses so it is the perfect accessory to have around since the weather currently changes to freezing with a moment’s notice. I layered it on top of this rust crochet dress that I’ve been saving to wear to wine country or somewhere a little bit more rustic, but I had to pull it out for a lunch date with a couple of my girlfriends. The warm tone actually match the Spanish style of the location really well.
