Jaxson’s Summer Style

Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.  All opinions are my own.

We have been spending a lot of quality time with Jaxson in anticipation of our new arrival.  I don’t think he understands just how much his world will change, and quite frankly, I don’t think I know either.  Right now we are just enjoying the last months of being family of 3 and making sure Jax knows and feels like he is the one and only center of our world.  And he is super excited about being a big brother!

Speaking of big, I mean…how much can this kid grow.  He literally only fits into less than 20% of his closet.  Sometimes I have to do laundry twice a week just so he doesn’t run out of pants to wear to school.  But last weekend, we did a little spoiling at Nordstrom and stocked up on all the best Summer things for Little J.  He will definitely live in light shirts, shorts and sandals the rest of the warm season.  The kids department at Nordstrom has a really good selection of cute boy clothes (which is so hard to find anywhere!), and a great mix of brands, from high end to the super affordable.  One of my absolute favorite brands for Jax is Tucker & Tate.  The pieces are a really great price point and quality made so I know they won’t shrink after one wash.  We picked up these cute blue shorts as well as this graphic tee, light hoodie and utility shorts from the brand.  And of course, sometimes I like to pick up some cute designer things like these Joe’s plaid shirt!  Plaid just looks so cute on little boys…I couldn’t resist.

John jokes that Jax has better (and more expensive) clothes than him, and well, sometimes I would have to agree.  ;).
