Boho Vibes in Los Olivos

Heading into Los Olivos, I really wanted to bring something bohemian but not too far out of my realm. I saw this dress on ASOS over a month ago and immediately thought of it when I was planning my outfits. I adore the intricate cutout details all over the dress (but in the right places) and the red embroidery. The loose, midi shape of the dress gives off the perfect boho vibes for my taste. It was super comfortable and breathable too for walking around town in the 95 degree heat.

You’ve probably heard me say multiple times how much I love the little charming town of Los Olives. We visit every year in August to attend the Foxen Vinyard’s annual members BBQ but try to get up there as much as we can. We usually bypass Santa Barbara proper, Solvang and other areas of Santa Ynez wine country to stay in Los Olivos. There is something about it – small town, charming architecture, good food and even better wines. The tasting rooms lining up the main street are enough so that you don’t ever to have get in your car to drive to a winery.

The only downside of a small town is lack of hotels. There is one good hotel on the main strip of the town, and its pretty pricey. So we always get a house via Airbnb! We travel for a few friends so its perfect – plenty of space to hang out, a pool, kitchen and grill to cook out in the evenings. If you decide to go the house rental route, definitely try to stick by the main downtown area. Walking distance to all the tasting rooms in Los Olivos is the key to a great {and safe} trip!
