The Korean beauty trend is all the rage lately. Sometimes I wonder if its all hype and good marketing, but you know what? I have quite a few Korean girlfriends and let me tell you…their skin is ridiculously amazing. I’m sure part of that is good genes, but the other part is good skincare habits and products. I’ve hopped on and off the K-Beauty wagon a few times. Honestly, as a busy mom, it was difficult to maintain a 10-step program every single day. And it was almost stressful to figure out which product from which line was the best for my skin. When I heard about Laneige though, all these roadblocks disappeared. The leading Korean skincare brand has developed a 7-step routine for a brighter and renewed skin. Super easy to follow! I especially love it when I travel since I think that is when my skin needs more the most lovin! I no longer overpack endless amounts of bottles and jars. Nope! Just these 7 easy steps:
CLEANSE – LANEIGE Multi Cleanser: I love this rich cleanser. It is like an oil and foam cleanser wrapped into one power creamy smooth product. The Multi Cleanser melts away your makeup and access dirt, and the natural enzymes takes away dead skin! I love the matte clean feeling I get after each use.
CLARIFY – LANEIGE Power Essential Skin Toner: The most fresh smelling toner I’ve ever had. It is light and quickly absorbed, leaving your skin dewy and hydrated.
BALANCE – LANEIGE Balancing Emulsion: Talk about hydration. This emulsion lotion is essential for smooth summer skin. The brightening technology combines the power of antioxidant – rich Truffle Yeast and moisturizing Green Tea. The most delicious combination, if you ask me!
TREAT – Laneige Bright Renew Original Serum: I love serums because they are so effective. This brighting product is a great complement to the whole line. Goes on light, smooth and leaves skin intensely renewed.
MOISTERIZE – LANEIGE Renew Original Cream: The product soaks right into my skin — no mildew feeling, which is important since there are so many layers of product already on your skin. I love the fresh scent.
REVIVE – LANEIGE WATER SLEEPING MASK: This one is a must especially for travel. A great remedy for the dehydration your skin goes through on airplanes and the always-on-the-go type lifestyle. This product brightens and clarifies, and basically does its magic while you sleep.
PROTECT – LANEIGE BB CUSHION: I love cushion compacts for days when I don’t have time to really put on my face. It is definitely a lot easier and cleaner than taking your foundation tube and application sponge. The compact goes with me wherever I go! The coverage is light and buildable to medium, and most importantly, it has sun protection (SPF50). It gives your skin that desirable dewy finish.
Laneige has definitely become one of my favorite beauty brands. Available at Target for the extra convenient for us moms who are there….often (to say the least!).
