One of my favorite topics to write about on the blog is beauty. I love trying out new products and kind of sifting through everything so I can share with you guys which ones are worth buying. Sometimes I’m totally blown away by drugstore items and other times I fall in love with products that require a bit of an investment. Today I’m sharing the latter – products that definitely get the job done and are worth the money, but are an investment up front. Below are five beauty products that work and that I truly love.
1. PMD Personal Microderm device
This tool is like having a spa treatment at home. It removes all the dead skin cells lingering on your face and delivers the most spectacular fresh glow! Your skin will look more even toned and fine lines will disappear. All you have to do is cleanse and dry your skin, then place the end tip on your face and pull away in a gliding motion. It’s recommended to do this treatment every 6-7 days for best results.
2. GloPRO® Microneedling Regeneration Tool Face & Eye Set
If you’re a frequent Nordstrom beauty department shopper, chances are you’ve heard of the GloPRO. The GloPRO allows you to microneedle at home, which was once only a treatment that could be done at the dermatologist. To use, simply cleanse your face and roll. It’s that easy! Do it for one minute in the evening and then finish your normal nighttime skincare routine for deeper penetration of your products. It’s a favorite for sure!
3. T3 Twirl Convertible Curling Iron (I usually use the 1.25 Inch barrel)
You guys know I love hair products, and most days, my hair is curled by this amazing iron. Believe me when I say I’ve tried them all, and without a doubt this is the best. The curling iron comes with interchangeable barrels, which is great if you like to switch up your curls. I’m usually using the 1.25” barrel for my everyday loose waves. Plus, it looks pretty sitting on your vanity!
4. NuFace Trinity Facial Toning Device
This little device is my not-so-secret weapon for fighting fine lines, wrinkles, and something I like to call ‘tired mama complexion.’ It’s an FDA-approved facial toning device, which is basically fancy language to say it helps with the skin’s appearance. It uses magical microcurrents to improve your face counter, and I even use it on my neck. It helps with everything from those wrinkles I mentioned to radiant skin, and it only takes a few minutes a day! (When first starting out, use less than daily, but the instructions cover all that).
It seems like novel idea…putting your skincare in the fridge. But it makes so much sense I wonder why its only become popular recently. Like food, ingredients we put on our skin, especially if the products are all natural, are perishable. Then you add on all the finger germs we put in the jars when we reach in for our daily swab, and its almost gross to think about. Its no wonder the back of every bottle says, store in cool, dry place. Such places keep the bacteria at bay. The skincare fridge helps prolong the life of our favorite creams, and I love the cool affect it adds when I apply right out of the fridge. It feels like a mini spa with every application. I put my eye creams, moisturizers, facial rollers, facial pads, sheet masks, any preservative free products, etc. The only think I don’t put in there is oils.
OK, off to give myself a little beauty break, using some of these products of course 🙂
I’d love to hear what beauty investments you swear by! And let me know if you have questions about any of mine. I’m more than happy to chat more about each!
