Easy breezy days are here again and my favorite trend as we head into the warmer seasons is the maxi dress. While its ideal for Spring/Summer, I really like it paired with a cropped jacket for cooler temperatures…maybe in a leather jacket!
I started to get into maxi dresses while I was pregnant actually. The lengthy silhouette is definitely more flattering {at least on me} when you’re carrying a wide load, and now I love it as a mom because its so easy and doesn’t reveal too much when I have to bent down to pick Little J or everything he inevitably drops on the ground.
Generally, we tend to think of long maxi dresses as more formal or an evening look, but this white embroidered piece brings out a sunny vibe that begs to be words during the day. I usually stay away from big prints on maxi dresses since there is so much material. It tends to make me look bigger since there is a lot happening on the dress itself….which is why this white is MAJOR. I am obsessed with the movement of the dress too! It makes such a bold statement while also being subtle. Jewelry or other statement pieces are not necessary.
I added a pop of color on the soles to add a fun surprise every time the dress flows and gives a peek at the shoes. These Sole Society gladiator heels are my current favorite – on trend and the yellow color is Springtime perfection.
