Can you believe its Monday again?! My weekends seem to go by in a blink these days, especially now with John’s heavy travel schedule, we cram in errands, family obligations and quality time during the few days he’s actually home. If you follow me on Insta, you know that we were house hunting. I actually got a lot of messages saying that many of you are doing the same thing and how exciting, exhausting and frustrating it is! I thought it was just us, so its nice to know that there’s a whole community of you in the same game. I’ve decided that trying to buy a home is definitely not my favorite. This is really the first time I am going through it the process. We live now in the home John bought before we were married. And I had no idea it was so intense. We passively explored at homes in 2016, and aggressively amped our search in the new year. And its been the most tiring 3 months of my life. The emotional ups and downs of (finally) agreeing on a home we both love, sending in offers and waiting what seems like forever to find out if your price is a match, and falling in love with home only to be beat out is just….draining. And throw in the insaneness that is the Southern California real-estate market and you might as well shoot me now. Anyway, we’ve been praying for the right home, and I have faith God’s timing is always perfect. Until then, we will (try to) be patient.
Stripes and denim are my frequent go-tos during the weekends. My mind automatically sets itself to reach for these classic pieces. They both pair so easily with almost everything in my closet. This denim skirt is by far my favorite of all the multiple pairs I own because its the perfect length for me – not to short and not to long. And I’m just in love with the pink stripes on this Rails button up shirt. These both will see frequent wears this season…just you watch! 🙂
