Hope you all had a great weekend! John was traveling for the week so I had my hands full as single mom, but otherwise it was great. It finally felt like Fall with the rain and cool weather, and I could not be any happier. I actually like the cold! Likely because we don’t get enough of it in Southern California. I want to wear sweaters, coats and boots…gosh dang it. And its impossible to do that when temps are in the triple digits in October. So bring on the cold. I’m definitely ready for it!
Since it had been so warm this Fall, I’ve been living in sleeveless sweater dresses. Its a nice compromise for wearing Fall trends and not sweating to death. 🙂 I’ve actually worn this Moon River dress (from Nordstrom) a couple times just last week alone since its so comfortable, and I get tons of compliments on it when I’m out. The fringe detail is what really makes it fun and flirty.
I wore with over-the-knee boots (shown here on Insta) and with these Ivanka Trump booties. I know that last name is rather high profile these days, but I do love her shoes! These brown suede booties are so comfortable, well-made and actually looks expensive in person. For less than $150, it is a steal! I can’t even tell you how many nude or light tan booties I have, so I’m glad to add a darker tone to my collection.
