Happy 4th of July! I hope you are doing something fun with friends & family, and enjoying our Nation’s birthday!
As for us, we decided to do a staycation, enjoy the beaches in our backyard and celebrate with our loved ones nearby. Its kinda funny…so many people want to come to Newport Beach for vacation, especially in the summer, and all we want to do is get out every chance we get! We actually had planned to go to San Diego, but cancelled last minute due to other family obligations. But it was actually nice to be close to home.
Whether we go near or far, I always feel like I’m lugging so much stuff for Baby J. Especially now, his toys and things to keep him occupied take up the most room. For a beach day or playdate by the pool, his regular baby bag just doesn’t cut it anymore. This weekend, his bag included….
- Swim shorts & rashguard
- Sand Toys & Pool Floatie
- Toys & Activities like magnet letters and books
- Sunscreen & Hat
- Extra change of clothes – Shorts, tees, button up shirt, jeans and shoes
- Snacks
- Flip Flops by Fish Flops (so cute!)
- Swim Diapers (of course, regular diapers & wipes too)
- Cups and Snack (we love these, this, this and this awesome Munchkin Sippy Cup!)
- Bathing Supplies (we love Mustela for bath time)
Phew…and I think I may be missing a few things. The point is, we have a lot of stuff! Luckily, I can fit EVERYTHING in a weekender baby by Petunia Pickle Bottom. I love the gender neutral print! Also, the material is water/stain resistant and has plenty of pockets inside for organization. It is one of our favorite summer accessories for the family. It will for sure get a lot of use this summer! Petunia Pickle Bottom also carries a matching train case which fits mamas stuff too. 🙂
