Spring Comfort

Thanks to Zappos for sponsoring this post!

Almost two weeks ago I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle!  While I didn’t break anything, I have never hurt myself with that much impact before, so it was slightly the traumatic.  The bruises and swelling that quickly followed were intense, and the limp I carried for a little over a week was excruciating with my super active toddler to follow around.  In the days of recovery, I realized how many UNCOMFORTABLE pairs shoes I had.  I mean, I literally wore one pair of shoes for 7 days straight.  Right then I decided I needed more shoes that were not only stylish but also good for the sole. 🙂  I discovered these ECCO ballerina flats at Zappos.com and I could automatic tell they were going to be my most comfy pair of shoes.  And I was right! I love the way they slip right one, and I didn’t feel the initial tightness or rub around the edges I normally do with new shoes.  Almost better than the comfort, is the tan color and feel of the leather.  I am drawn to the neutrals and versatility, and these shoes are the best in both.

Also, I couldn’t resist a this ECCO dusty rose cross body bag to match my fancy new shoes.  I had originally planned to wear these pieces in Orlando exploring Disneyworld, but I just couldn’t wait.   The shoes and bag are a perfect match to a fun floral top and eyelet skirt ensemble.

In truth, I’m a new fan of ECCO gear.  The brand really knows how to blend basic wearability and style, which I really appreciate!  These pieces will definitely be a staple for Spring….Summer, Fall…and beyond.
