Sapphire

Whatever you call it – sapphire, cobalt, electric blue – this vibrant shade of blue is the color of my month. Take a peek of my recent purchases which you’ll be seeing on Jetting Jewels soon, here & here.

The color oozes power and seems so presidential. Red’s partner in crime, if you will. I’m especially in love with this blue Banana Republic dress. The drop-waist, slightly ruffled detail gives this shift dress a punch of flirtyness (is that a real word?). I actually couldn’t decide what to wear it with, so I left the house with it cinched at the waist with a thin belt, but threw on scarf shortly after stepping outside and realized it was actually chilly. I love it both ways! I wear almost everything with belts because it gives the illusion of curves. I’m hip challenged and need a little help in that area…if you know what I mean.

In other news, my mom has been staying with me this week while John is traveling and its been amazing!! I have been super productive – cleaning the house, signing Jaxson up for Gymboree class and so many other chores. Its amazing what you can get done with a extra set of hands! In other other news, while organizing my home/life, I discovered I’m a hoarder! Who keeps empty Juicy Couture jewelry packaging from like 2005. Really?! Who knows what I’ll find when I start cleaning the garage. It should be interesting!
