I feel like this week is flying by. Perhaps because we skipped a working Monday for the zoo. Since Mondays are the 1 of 2 days a week I work each week, when I miss a day, I am all turned around and behind on just about everything. It just means I’m doing a whole lot juggling this week.
Anyway, there have been some good sales the last couple weeks that I am totally taking advantage of. From Anthropologie, J.Crew, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and basically every store is offering Fall deals!
I scored this green and ivory floral dress at Anthropologie. It is last season’s dress but the warm colors will take me through Fall for sure. While browsing, I stumbled up on this ruffled vest. My girly-girl vision automatically darts to anything with a bow, ruffles or lace. So when I saw this, I immediately picked it up. Ruffles and neutral colors are things I don’t skimp on! It only comes in “one size fits all” (which usually isn’t good for petite women) but I made due with it. I might pay a visit to my tailor and take it in a little bit so it doesn’t look like there so much material, but otherwise, I really love it. I love that it flows with the wind and gives my ensemble alittle life! I paired it with a dress, but how fab would it look with a pair of black jeans and just a tee. As I mentioned before, light layering pieces are key if you experience warmer Fall temps like Southern California!
