Restyled: Pleated Leather Skirt

So many jackets on the blog this week! I am definitely feeling the Fall season…if only the weather would do what I want it to.

I wanted to share this pleated faux leather skirt from J.Crew again styled a bit more differently this time. Who says bloggers don’t wear anything twice?! ha. Proving that wrong now. I purposely try to stick with more classic pieces so I can reuse and restyle them over and over again. This skirt is a definite classic. Pleats always add a bit more elegance, and faux leather adds more edge.

A few weeks ago, I paired this skirt with a warm colored a silk blouse (see the full look here). But this week, I wanted to be a bit more basic. But this skirt glams up a basic grey tee and makes it look dressy. I added a draped front shearling jacket for…well, affect I guess. It has been hanging in my car for a couple weeks now just waiting to be worn. I looked at it and thought to myself that this tee/skirt combo would be perfect with the jacket! The weather is still too warm here, but I love the grey and burgundy tones together. Marrying the light and dark in an effortless way.
