Red {Stripes} & Ruffles

I love finding classic pieces that has a slight modern element. For instance, a basic wrap skirt automatically elevates its statement when ruffles are added. This skirt is my favorite piece from the Who What Wear collection at Target. I just couldn’t resist all the ruffles. The color and fit works well for Sunday brunches with the family or the office. In fact, this is actually the perfect work attire for Spring – something vibrant, yet classy and sophisticated. I’ve worn this skirt with a simple white tee, a black top, a light sweater and now fun red stripes. The pairing options are pretty endless.

The warmer weather brings out my playful sense of style. Its usually the season, I like to play with different prints and colors. Adding a leopard clutch to a look with so much detail already would normally be too much. But I really love it. It brings a sense of edge and playfulness without being overbearing.
