Date nights are far and few between for John and I. So when we were in NYC, we knew we wanted to do something really nice one night. Our first top was the Refinery Rooftop Bar. I love the decor and the city views can’t be beat. We ordered a couple glasses of rose and french fries to start the ninth. For din er we went to Gabriel Kreutzer. It was near our hotel near Bryant Park so we could easily walk there and enjoy a little stroll as well. And its good thing we walked a little because dinner was so delicious and indulging. And of course, you know I did not skip dessert.
I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a lace dress. This Parker dress is probably one of my favorite dresses…ever! The intricate lace detail and the nude contrasting lining is so elegant and sexy at the same time. It fits so well and falls at the perfect length below the knee. I usually have to get dresses altered because they either make me look too short or I have to wear sky high heels, so its nice to just slip something on the minute it comes in the mail. 🙂 I added a gold belt just to break up the color and texture.
I can’t wait to wear it again. The lady-like silhouette would be perfect for a wedding or bridal shower!
