Lace is classic in my book. It is so dependable – pull it out for a fancy dinner, a cocktail event or a wedding, and voila, instant elegance! It ranks up there with a classic LBD. I’ve been looking for a red skirt for the holidays and found it in this perfect little lace pencil silhouette. I know I’ll be wearing this skirt a few times this season so I thought I would first style it for a daytime outing. I love the way it pops when paired with this classic neutral sweater, like this one from J.Crew. I also kept all my accessories neutral to really let the skirt stand out.
