If there is one time a year you can get away with being an total girly-girl, and wear lots and lots of pink and red, it is now! Tis’ the season for hearts, pink champagne and sparkly confetti. All of my favorite things. Its also an excuse to dress like a 12 year-old girl. ha! You remember heart sweatshirts and scrunchies circa 1994, right?! Ok now I’m dating myself.
Sometimes I prefer a more subtle approach to Valentine’s Day style. A romantic lace top is just the right amount of sexiness and the cropped length on this one {from Skylar Belle} shows a bit of skin while still keeping it classy. There is also delicate pearl detail around the neck that I’m totally in love with.
And lastly, to add some pop, I will usually add red. This color always puts me right in the spirit of Love Day. A bold accent piece will usually be my bag or shoes, and these shoes are just the right type of pop, don’t ya think?
