Park Perfect

Like I mentioned last week {see here}, we’ve been doing park dates on weekends and killing two birds with one stone by adding outfit photoshoots.  It gives Jaxson some excitement and fun too.  Usually during photoshoots, he’s off to the side yelling for our attention and we bribe him with snacks {probably not the best mom moments}.  Its been so hot though that getting out of the house around golden hour has been good for all of us.  I think it also helps Jax sleep better too.  Maybe its the fresh air.

Anyway, sometimes we go out to dinner after the park so it is kind perfect since I’m already dressed!  On Labor Day, I chose a shift dress and lace-up flats.  I don’t have to run around much after Jax yet so its still works well for me. ha!  I am obsessed with the current lace-up trend.  Gives the classic ballerina flat so much edge.  Perfect for park dates and dinner dates!
