Happy New Year friends. I hope your year is going well so far. I feel alittle sad that the holidays are over, but so excited to see what this year will bring.
I wanted one last excuse to get dressed up in this little black dress by Jarlo. When I spotted it at Bloomingdales, I knew I had to have it. My eye is usually drawn to brighter colors, fun textures and sparkles, but this modern LBD quickly caught my eye. The sweetheart neckline, the exaggerated high/low flounce skirt and the subtle cutout make this dress the perfect feminine and sexy combination. It hugged my shape in all the right places and pretty comfortable to move around in. Best part – the flow of the skirt makes me look like I have actual curves! I kept shoes and accessories basic black to not take away from the perfect details of the dress.
The beauty of a black dress is that its always in style. I can already envision styling this dress with a brighter pump or statement earrings for a more fun twist. So I definitely look forward to wearing this to many more events!
