The famous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially happening. Like many things in 2020, a few things about the sale has changed. The best thing that Nordstrom did was give EVERYONE access to preview. And starting today (August 4th), top tier (Icon status) card holders have privileges to start shopping. The other tiers follow on the 7th, 10th and 13th for Ambassador, Influencer and Insider, respectively. Then everyone can shop on the 19th!
But don’t worry, I think sellout risk is low. It seems Nordstrom really focused on their top selling brands and staples versus trendy. To be honest, the selection this year is the sub par. BUT there are still plenty of deals to be had. For me, I invested on the basics in casual wear, activewear, some Fall investments and other things in beauty and accessories that have been on my wishlist.
Life has changed a lot for everyone during the Pandemic, and my tip would be to spend your hard earn money wisely. I don’t have a lot of need for heels and fancy workwear at the moment, so I mostly stayed away.
