It seriously feels like Spring these days. But of course, the minute I write this, the forecast says rain.
Anyway, I wore this last weekend when temps were reaching summer capacity. It is simple, casual, and bright. Really everything that describes happiness. Right?! What doesn’t make my happy though, is that I bought it over a month ago, and the minute I decide to wear it and rip off the tags, it goes on major sale! Like 75% less than what I paid. sigh. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
It only took my like a week to get over it. I don’t know why it bothered me so much. Maybe because the sale price was…umm…hi, $20!!!! Ok I’ll get over it now.
In other more pleasant news, here are a couple of other things consuming me this week….
~ NYFW: I love following all my favorite bloggers to all the shows in NYC. I really wanted to go this season, but timing just didn’t work out. John is traveling a lot this month so unless I could get a plus one ticket for Baby J, there was no way I could make it out. My favorite shows were Kate Spade, Marissa Webb {coolest last name}, Tommy Hilfiger and Lela Rose.
~ Obsessed with a detox drink from The Skinny Confidential. I have been drinking it every morning {and sometimes at night too} and I feel like it has made such a different in preventing bloat. Especially on days when I eat super unhealthy like Chinese take out, I really feel like I need this concoction. I love the tangy and spicy flavors of the drink!! See the full recipe here.
