I’ve been hanging at the beach quite a bit lately. Usually with my nieces or just a quick stop to watch the sunset with John and Jax. I feel very fortunate to living walking distance to the water even though I wouldn’t call myself a “beach person”. Getting dirty from the sand and sticky from the salty air is not my favorite. And laying out for fun is not my cup of tea. ha! But honestly sometimes I carve the gorgeous views.
I love dresses that I can wear out to lunch, and to a sunset watching trip on the beach. Something easy, flowy and comfortable. This dress from Mink Pink is just that. I wore it to a fun happy hour date with John and then as a beach cover-up. I just love multi-tasking pieces. Saves me time, money and energy!
The soft floral tones are so warming, perfectly matching warm summer sunsets. The season usually means bright trends, but I just can’t stay away from these earth tones. I paired my look with espadrille wedges and a vanilla colored bag by Dooney & Burke. I love the size of the bag! It is structured so I don’t have to worry about it loosing shape.
