Hope you all had a great weekend, and enjoying some time off today for MLK. John and I had a quick impromptu overnight trip to San Diego for a date day/night and then we spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and doing some things at home. To be honest, we had a little too much fun in SD and still recovering (read: too much wine!). Its been nice to have an extra day to just hang.
I typically try to shut off work (minus Instagram) during the weekends. So I use Mondays to catch up on not only work but news, events and happenings from around the web. I thought I’d share some random thoughts and finds I’m musing on this fine Monday! Enjoy!
1. My favorite affordable faux leather moto jacket is on major sale ($60)…all colors! I usually pair it with dresses and casual looks.
2. I’ve been doing the a no sugar cleanse for the month of January and this zoodle recipe is my saving grace! I love noodles so give it up has been the hardest part!
3. If you’re a mom, you NEED to read this. Because I know your child is probably playing (or has played) with a Sophie the Giraffe!
4. Since today is MLK Day, here is my favorite quote to inspire you this week…
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
5. And last but not least…I wanted to share this lace & bow dress by For Love or Lemons. I wore it to the Louis Vuitton & UNICEF event at the LV store in South Coast Plaza. I paired it with a edgier leather jacket but balanced with a classic pump.
