Its happening! As soon as Baby J turned 5 months old, he started rolling around ALL.THE.TIME. We can’t leave him for one second without finding him on his tummy or clear across the floor/bed/crib/etc. So I guess its official. We will inevitably start chasing him around very soon. I’m excited for his mobility and proud at his development…and of course, also scared for myself. ha!
We removed the bumpers from his crib but looks like we’ll have to put them back on. He uses the bars to flip and twist every which way, and it distracts him from sleeping. Its like when you get so excited about a trip or something big happening soon, and you just can’t sleep. I imagine its like that for him. He has these new talents and wants to use them and show them off…even if it means delaying nap time by 1, or 5, hours!
It might also be time to baby proof the house. Seriously he was just a newborn a minute ago! *BIG sigh*
