Yay! I’m excited its Tuesday. Good because one more day closer to the weekend, and bad because now I feel I’m already behind on this week’s to-dos!
Also, I’m a little sad this week since a lot of my blogger friends head to NYFW and I will be here. I was planning on going, and then Jaxson got sick for two weeks in August, and took me away from the blog life and any hope I had of fashion week preparations. So I officially decided not to go. But on Friday, I got the urge to just do it! John is amazing and was fully onboard. I found a flight and a hotel, and was ready to book my plans late Friday night. But the OCD planner in my took over and kicked me back to reality. What was I thinking?! With only a handful of show invitations, I had no outfits planned, no real agenda and no babysitter! With no time to plan, I knew I would just be stressed out and crazy so I decided to sit this one out. But I will be there next season for sure!
In other news, I met a super fabulous photographer from LA, Tyler of Hula Girl Photo. She is gorgeous as she is sweet and I love her photography style. We walked around Abott Kinney and found this super cute Insta-famous wall of heart graffiti. I love that it matches my dress perfectly.
This mustard or saffron color is my must have to Fall transition, if you haven’t noticed already {see the skirt I just bought in the same color here}. It feels like a richer, more Fall appropriate version of nude. I can wear it with everything, and it just feels right. I received so many compliments on this fun, flirty dress by Tularosa. The lace panels add a dressier feel, and the bell sleeves were just so fun to wave around. Also, I’m convinced this babydoll shape looks great on every body type.
