This weekend, the hubbs and I had a little date night for early Valentine’s Day. We went to our old favorite spots for Shabu Shabu which we hadn’t been to in….well, since Jaxson was born!! Boiling hot water near a baby just doesn’t seem like the best idea. I guess you can call us over protective. ha! We also planned to watch a movie after, but we got so tired and sleepy. It was already 8:30pm afterall. 😉 #OldMarriedCouple
So much Valentine’s Day happiness going on lately. The chocolates, flowers and hearts are just a few things I love about this holiday. I had total heart eyes for this sweater when I laid eyes on it, and knew I wanted to save for this special day in February. The hearts are black which is great for a subtle effect. I paired the sweater with a black sequin pencil skirt for one last sequined hooray until later in the year. If it were up to me, I would probably wear sequins all year! But I think Valentine’s Day marks the closing of sequins season…sadly! I topped off my look with my favorite special occasion shoe…THE Manolos!
John is actually leaving on a biz trip tomorrow so hopefully we get a chance to just do a family breakfast date. Hopefully you all have something special planned with that special someone.
Have a great week!
