We’re already in mid-June, which means if you’re like me, your calendars are filling up with engagements, weddings and bridal showers.
I love shower celebrations! To me, there’s no better way to celebrate a friend’s upcoming nuptials than a fun shower to celebrate the love and momentous occasion in her life — complete with gifts to help start her new life! However, I find bridal shower presents are always the hardest. Do you go with practical, like a toaster; or fun, like lingerie; or just necessary, like a nice day at the spa? I usually go with the fun or indulgence gifts since they are just more fun to give. But in a world focused on material things and technological communication, I always try to lead with something sweet like a pretty hand-written card, something completely from the heart.
I love spending the time picking out the perfect card for an occasion and taking the time to let someone know you are thinking about them. Hallmark Signature cards seem to always know what I’m trying to say! And they spare no expense on details. Hallmark Signature cards are pretty incredible – I am talking sequins, tulle, feathers and so many other amazing embellishments. Some of the cards even come with removable keepsakes like coasters and necklaces.
I recently stopped in Walgreens and almost spent an hour perusing through all the amazing designs from Hallmark Signature. Every card was better than the next so I naturally had to read through ALL of them. I ended up with these three! My favorite of the bunch though has to be the one with a wood carved “mr. & mrs.” embellishment on the front. How amazing is that! The bride I had in mind for this card loves all things rustic and hand-made so I know she will fall in love with this card as much as I have.
Other cards might be easily forgotten and tossed away, but I love these cards because you can keep a piece of it with you….forever! I hope my friend removes the wood sign and uses it as a coaster, or decorative piece on a corkboard or kitchen.
