Its been over a month since we were in Napa so this post is long overdue. We had the best time and the weather was perfect. The appropriate amount of chill for a coat, but not overly freezing. It was the best weather to breakout my new Grey trench from Chicwish. I love the cool color tone and relaxed structure.
Its actually great timing for this Napa post since we’re going back there this weekend. YES…going back for an early Valentine’s getaway. For most guys, the way to their heart is through food. For my dear hubs, his heart is all about wine. We wanted a quick and fun destination, and in our minds, there really is no better place than Cali wine country. Here are some of our favorite spots:
To eat
Bouchon or Ad Hoc – Thomas Keller. Need I say more.
Boon Fly Cafe at Carneros Inn – Great place for breakfast. Try their famous donuts. Bite size heaven. You won’t regret it.
To Drink
Cakebread – If the name doesn’t draw you in, the wine will win you over. Fortunately and unfortunately for me, there was no cake or bread to be had…just great wine!
B Cellars – New tasting room with full kitchen is ingenious in Napa. Great place for the ultimate food and wine pairing experience.
Frog’s Leap – Love the cozy ambiance here. I just want to move into their chic ranch style home. The pic of the hubs with the cute red chairs was taken at Frog’s Leap.
