El Nino is here! And I’m thoroughly enjoying this long week of rain. Its been nice to catch up on things around the house. I’m starting on my Spring cleaning early I guess. I started with my kitchen. And true confession – I had things in my pantry that expired in 2013!! Horrible. Now, this year I’m trying to make a serious effort to get myself organized for the weekend and the following week now.
But its also fun to look back on the week. There is always so much information in the news, TV and social media and sometimes I miss so much! I actually love it when my friends text me or share on Facebook something amazing from around the web. So from now on, I’ll start to share the best things from my week – things I find to be funny, yummy, interesting or just good-to-know. Sometimes there will be 10 or 20 things and other times, only 3. Just depending on the week! Here are my best finds from the week:
- Pom Beanies Craze – I’m obsessed and so is everyone on Instagram. Here are my favorites: one, two, three, four, five.
- Donuts – Fancy donuts are the like the new Cronuts, I guess. U Jelly and Crafted Donuts are opening up this weekend in Fountain Valley. If you’re in the OC, its worth a stop!
- When It rains in LA video – Want to know what it was like this week during the storms. Watch this. Hilarious and true!
- Mom Hacks – I have been a fan of What’s Up Moms for awhile, even before I had Jaxson. And this video with hacks to do kids crafts is amazing! Who knew I could use a muffin tin as an art tray!
- Bible Verse – The verse that most speaks to me this week is Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
