Fall Guide: My 10 Favorite Shoes for Fall

{My Favorite OTK Boot Ever! More price friendly version here!}

While it may not feel like it yet in Southern California, fall is almost here! Like most people, it’s a season I love, and I can’t help but to start shopping for it around this time. And while coats and sweaters are fun and all, let’s get real – it’s all about the shoes! I don’t know about you, but it’s one of my favorite things to shop for during this time of year.

If you’re also a lover of all things fall shoes, I wanted to put together a little Fall 2018 Shoe Guide. These are the 10 best shoes and trends I’m eyeing for the season, so I hope it’s helpful!

Leopard anything (pumps and flats) – You’ve probably noticed that leopard is making a serious comeback this season, especially in terms of accessories. If you want to dip your toes in the trend, literally, try a pair of leopard pumps or flats. They surprisingly go with everything!

Slouch Boots – I love the nod to the ‘60s and ‘70s with the return of slouchy boots. Especially in a yummy texture like suede, these look cute with a dress or over jeans.

Slingback pumps – Slingbacks are still going strong this fall and I personally adore them in the form of a pump. This is the shoe I’ll be wearing to a couple events and they’d be perfect for work, weddings, etc.

Ankle Bootie – There are so many good boots this season, and the ankle sock bootie is one of them. I think these look best with a dress or skirt.

OTK Boots – You can’t go through fall and winter without an amazing pair of over-the-knee boots. These are a fun way to spice up an outfit or to provide a flattering look to your lower half. Even though I’m petite, I still rock these all the time!

Studded mules – I find myself in mules so often, especially when I’m in jeans. They’re cool and casual, but this fall, the studded detail adds a little edge.

Velvet loafers – These aren’t your grandma’s loafers! The velvet provides a rich texture and added personality to this classic style. I love these for busy days on my feet or when heels just won’t cut it.

White Booties – Another nod to a previous decade, white booties are back for another season. If you regretted not buying a pair last season, now is the time! I look for a quality pair that don’t look cheap, like the ones below.

Dress up Sneakers – From metallic to detailed, sneakers are spruced up this year. I live in sneakers as a mom, and have a feeling I will be even more as this pregnancy progresses. Have fun with this style!

Party shoes (heels and sparkles) – Another must for this time of year! I usually buy one awesome pair of party heels for holiday events, but like to pull them out as soon as the weather changes.

What’s your favorite of the 10?
