It’s tough to get out of the house with a new baby, much less getting out without baby in tow. But as new parents, you gotta make the effort to work on yourself and your #1 relationship, with your spouse. I’m thankful to have family around to help out so mommy and daddy can get out and share a meal without worrying about diapers and feeding schedules. We try to do date night a couple times a month, even if its just to get take out for 30 minutes together or a quick glass of wine at Hi-Times. Whatever time you can squeeze, its worth it. Its good definitely for the marriage…and your soul!
