Festival season is upon us and whether you’re headed to Coachella or a festival-inspired soiree, you’re probably thinking, “What do you I wear?!” You want to look appropriate, but cool and not like it’s your first rodeo; modern bohemian but not homeless chic; and, most importantly, you want to dress for your #CurrentMood. Luckily for us, Target has an amazing selection of festival fashion to choose from to pull off whatever vibe you’re trying to achieve.
I made a recent visit and came away with some great pieces to create a couple of different looks. The first one is inspired by “festival gone moody.” This Xhilaration maxi dress is definitely not your typical spring dress. The black with intricate bohemian designs gives off a darker mood while the classic colors maintain a simple tone. I decided to wear the Xhilaration strappy back triangle bikini top underneath to add a little more edge. You get a glimpse into the details only from the back, so it’s a nice little surprise! I also love this because I can easily take it to a fun beach day. I completed the look with an embroidered kimono by Xhilaration as well!
The second look is on the other side of the spectrum—a more decorated and bold festival style. I’m talking about more color and fun textures. I couldn’t think of anything more vibrant and so fitting for this theme than fringe and lace! I just love the movement in this Mossimo fringe halter tankini and the pink Xhilaration embroidered duster. Perfect to accentuate those festival dance moves! I kept the bottom simple with Mossimo jean shorts. This look is all about the details, and it’s truly inspired by the youthful sense of fun and the carefree attitude most distinct in festival-goers.
Both looks are so fun and easy to pull together since the options of festival-inspired pieces and swimwear are endless at Target. I even got the shoes for each look (Mossimo wedges and DV sandals) at Target. One-stop shop!
