Happy Friday all. I’m slow to post this week due to a major flu hitting our house. First Little J, and now myself. Its been a rough week to say the least. I’m not sure what is worse, taking care of a sick child, or being sick and having to take care of a super energetic 1 year old. 🙁
Anyway, even in my flu medicine haze, I couldn’t wait to share one of my favorite outfits as of late! This chambray maxi skirt is one of my “it” pieces of the season. I love the button detail down the front. You can button as far down or up depending on how sassy you feel. The soft material and tone of blue also allows versatility. I paired it with high chunky heels since I’m a shorty.
The stripe off the shoulder top is from one of my favorite Australian labels, Auguste. They have cutest collection of bohemian inspired apparel. A cool mix of feminine and modern bohemian. I’m not usually too much of a boho girl, but I can definitely wear every single piece from Auguste…and not feel like I’m trying to hard to fit in.
The blues are so soothing for me. I think living near the water, I’m just automatically drawn to the color. This little dock is in Balboa Peninsula. I love talking walks down there. Its my favorite spot in the Newport area. Super quiet, the most charming houses {or mansions, I should say} and way cleaner than Newport Peninsula.
