By far the best part of a blogger life is getting to go to fun events, meeting inspiring entrepreneurs and amazing brands. All this is wrapped up into one specific event I attended a couple weeks ago called Club Momme’s Spring Family Fest.
If you’re a parent, pregnant and/or have small kids, this is an event not to miss. Even the rain this year didn’t keep us away. Held at the Fig House in LA, Club Momme brought the house down with the best of the best in baby gear, expert panels, amazing raffles/giveaways and a big keynote speaker.
I had heard so much about Club Momme‘s Family Fests (they also have one in the Fall) before, but I had no idea what a great time it would be. I loved getting to meet other LA moms, and of course brands who make the most innovation products on the market. If you are expecting, this the perfect opportunity to learn and test out new gear sans pressure from sales reps. A few of my favorite brands in attendance include Petunia Pickle Bottom, Orbit Baby, Ergo Baby, Cheeky, Brinware and Tot Squad.
I actually decided to leave Little J at home and have a mama’s day out with my sister (a mom of 3 girls), but next time I will definitely bring him along. There were tons activities specifically designed to educate, inspire creativity and entertain the little ones, to include a ball pit (who doesn’t love a good ball pit, am I right?!). He would have been in heaven!
Another highlight to the event was hearing Joy Cho of Oh Joy speak on balancing family, career and starting her empire.
