It is hard to believe Spring is just around the corner. Here in Southern California, all the warm seasons just blend in, so I am kind of wishing we could experience a little bit more winter. Oh well…I guess that’s the beauty of living in here, right? Regardless of the lack of changing seasons here, my wardrobe still transitions.
The staple during the cooler months is a classic trench coat. So I love going with the cropped version as we head into Spring. This one is actually old from Banana Republic, and it has been in heavy rotation year after year. I don’t have to put it away since it works all year round. The color and structure puts a polish on any look like the traditional version, but the cut down length is more fun and youthful.
Paired with a stripe tank, jeans and a casual mule, I have uniform for just about every daytime outing. That usually include errands, playdates and a lunch with friends if I’m lucky.
