Staying true to my classic style, I’ve always thought that my one core staple for a fall/winter wardrobe is a tan/camel coat. A great neutral basic will always be in style! Like other wardrobe pieces such as shoes and bags, a quality coat will be an investment for years to come, and should complement all the various pieces already in your closet.
This coat by Ted Baker is definitely a piece I can see wearing multiple times this year, and in multiple ways. The full pleated shape is fun and flirty, and when fully buttoned, it almost looks like a dress on its own. I also love the asymmetrical button front. It is such a modern sophistication and elegance. It is definitely an investment piece but I am certain its returns will be worthwhile.
