I say this at every stage, but I love this time. He’s so interactive and easy to take around. He’s beginning to look like a little boy than a baby! He’s super active and energetic, which can be exhausting, but overall I love seeing him explore the world. Watching him grow before our eyes has just been so incredibly surreal. He is mobile, responsive and is curious about the things we say and do. The best thing we do now is play hide & seek – we hide behind the couch or right outside his bedroom door and he will excitedly crawl to “seek” and wait for us to peek through, and then laugh hysterically when he’s found us! Its so fun! He’s in 18 months clothes so we’ve got a little chunker on our hands.
We’ve pretty much run out of white carpet for monthly photos so I have to figure something out for next month. Scroll below for more fun stuff about Jax…
He…
- has 4 teeth – a pair on both and top
- Is happy crawler. He does a weird thing where he takes an actual step with one foot and drags the other leg…I think he feels its a faster technique.
- has a very strong and demanding personality.
- continues to sleep well at night…11-12 hours…woohoo!! But hates to nap during the day though…
He likes…
- to go out…anywhere anytime. He just loves to be out and about.
- to scream to get your attention
- His new “door” toy handed down by his cousin. Its great for his motor skills.
- to bath time and swimming…anything with water!
- to stand up in his crib using the bars to help
- to smile and giggles at everything
- Avocado, mango and just about everything he eats.
- Happy Baby Yogurt Snacks
He hates….
- the heat that we’ve been experiencing lately
- when you feed him too slow
- sitting still long enough for a proper diaper or outfit change
- Any type of sippy cups.
So proud to be his mama and blessed that God chose us for his little soul. We love our happy baby! Now its time to start planning his first birthday….. 🙂
