Hope you all had a great Father’s Day! Ours was wonderful. We got to celebrate John, my Dad and my bro-in-law at brunch. Its so nice to have family around to celebrate these fun holidays. I feel extremely blessed to have them near.
In the spirit of babies and parenthood, I thought its about time I shared a {LATE} Baby J update. WARNING, baby photo overload ahead! 🙂
Jax is now a 7 months old. I just love this age. I love every stage, but this one just might be my favorite so far. He’s got a big personality now, he giggles and smiles, he knows us and his Oma and Opa {Grandma and Grandpa} and his cousins very well. He can play by himself but prefers playing with mama or daddy, or anyone else willing to give him 100% attention. Constant playtime and stimulation is the name of the game at this age, I guesss. His hair is finally starting to grow out, and he has the most infectious smile…closed eyes, full gums type of smile. He’s got us all wrapped around his finger fo’ sho’! More about baby J at 7 months…
He is super tickelish and gives the cutest deep chuckle.
Peek-a-boo is his fave and has learn to play himself. Its so cute! He also started to throw things and gets upset to see his toy so far away.
He eats solids 3 times a day and loves everything we’ve given him so far!! My mom makes him gourmet organic meals everyday!! He eats better than most of us. He does oatmeal and fruit puree in the morning, then a blend of veggies, rice and meat for lunch and dinner.
He has a total boy personality. Loves being scared and fart noises. Typical!
He frequently gets up on his knees and rocks back and forth, takes just a couple slow mediated crawls forward, but going backwards is more this thing. It’s hilarious. His little legs and arms are so strong, he attempts standing up in his crib…making us so proud and yet so sad. Soon enough little buddy…soon enough…
He sleeps in all the craziest positions…tummy, back, side and arms tucked in ways I never knew was humanly possible. Every night, he’ll do a couple trips around the crib before falling asleep! And still sleeping 11-12 hours! Hooray!
Baby J is starting to understand “kiss” because he gets so many everyday! Not stopping anytime soon!
