I love doing photoshoots when we travel to amazing destinations. I always feel like its a once in a lifetime opportunity to take advantage of the gorgeous landscapes. We did our babymoon/maternity photos in Croatia – see here! And like any girl whose seen the later episodes of Sex in the City, or is avid user of Pinterest or Instagram, doing a photoshoot in Paris is the ultimate dream! So when we started planning our birthday trip to Europe, I knew it was my opportunity. And it was perfect timing to shoot for our Christmas card. I found Catherine O’Hara photography on Style Me Pretty, and fell in love with her photos! She has a romantic and dreamy style that captures the beauty of Paris and the people in them so perfectly. I was so happy to find out she was available when we were in town, and booked her immediately.
Also, if you are wondering, the recent tragedies that happened in Paris did not deter our travel plans. And we felt the safest there than any other city we’ve ever visited thanks to with the increased security. I can’t wait to be back!
