If there is one travel style must have for me, it is any kind of one-piece. Jumpsuits, dresses, rompers….all of the above. It is so convenient and fits so lightly. Also, I don’t have to worry about style and matching pieces together. Time saved and better spent at the pool, am I right?
This jumpsuit from Lover+Friends is so fun. I love sweetheart neckline – I think it looks the best on my frame. And it gives the ensemble a more dressier vibe. This shade of emerald is also my favorite for night looks since it is vibrant yet also a deep jewel tone. I brought along a leather jacket with me just in case it gets chilly at night, and I actually love it more with the jacket. The jacket breaks up the straight line giving me shape and dimension.
I wore this look to dinner last weekend in SD. Such a great little getaway! I have to say it was so much easier traveling without Jaxson but we missed him so much! We talked about him all throughout dinner – the words he’s saying, things he finds annoying, how he knows 4 colors and his favorite toy. I miss him just thinking about it (he’s currently sound asleep since its 10pm). I had so much mom guilt leading up to this trip. Even though we were gone for literally only 1.5 days, I knew he wouldn’t go down as easy without me or wake up in his own crib. It would have been challenging to take him with us since we had a lot of work to do for the blog. And he wouldn’t really enjoy it anyway being carted around to take pictures and such….or at least that’s what I kept telling myself. Mom life is hard guys. Its a constant struggle between always being with the little one at all times, and doing what’s best for the situation or your job or other obligations or……..Sigh. Ok, self-pity over. Moving on…
