Happy August! I can’t believe the Summer is half way through. Where does the time go?! I can’t remember the last time I shared a baby favorites…its been way too long. I usually like to get a photo of Jaxson using the products, but if you’re a mama, you know how that mission is nearly impossible with a toddler.
We are fortunate to get to try so many great products and I feel guilty that I don’t share them enough with you, so I wanted my first post this month to feature our favorite products we’ve been using. You’ll see its a variety of things that Jaxson uses at home, out & about and basic summer essentials.
1. Bumble Collection Backpack – I love the Bumble Collection of bags. I changed from a traditional messenger type diaper bag to this backpack and I don’t know why I waited so long. It has literally changed my life. A backpack is 100 times more convenient! And not to mention, this Bumble Collection backpack is so cute! Its hard to find “cute” boy prints, but I love this black and grey design since its unisex. We’ve also been using the adorable cooler bag for beach and park days!
2. Munchkin Miracle 360 Sippy Cup – We have tried soo many sippy cups to find the one that fits Jaxson’s taste (and mood), and none of them captured his interest quite like the Munchkin Miracle 360 cups. Since it took him a second to get the idea of these cups, I think he was captured and intrigued by the challenge of getting the water to come out. ha! I love them too! The spout-less design is innovative and so easy to clean. It comes with just 3 parts with no nonsense valves and extra thingymabobs!
3. California Baby Calming Shampoo & Bodywash – The soap is great because it doesn’t leave a film on his skin, and the subtle scent is perfect for his nighttime bath!
4. Sunscreen – We’ve been spending a lot of time in the sun this summer. And unfortunately he inherited the sun sensitive skin of his Irish side. So I have to stock up on sunscreen! I keep the Baby Botanicals sports stick SPF50 sunscreen right by the door to apply any time we are going outside (at least a layer on this face) and another one in the car for when I forget to apply at home or reapplication. The sticks make it so easy, especially for my hyper little toddler. I love the Babo Botanicals brand since its made with safe ingredients, non-nano Zinc Oxide, goes on clear and doesn’t have a weird scent like with most sunscreen. I also keep ThinkSport SPF50 on hand for longer days at the pool or beach. Has all the benefits of the Babo Botanicals I love, but just a little cost efficient to slather all over.
5. Little Monkey Designs Personalized Pillow – I love anything customized. It just brings a sense of personality and uniqueness that I love to any piece in the home. This pillow from Little Monkey Designs is the cutest. The material feels soft yet with a luxe texture! And I love that it quotes one of our favorite songs, Sunshine. This is perfect for a baby shower gift or filling any stylish nursery! The shop also makes cute shower invitations and baby announcements if you’re planning something special.
