I usually gravitate towards a good plain sweater since they pair well and goes under all my winter coats. But this year I’m all about the details – lace-up, buttons, ruffles and lace are the usually favorites. Lately though, bow ties are definitely stealing the show. I love that it adds a touch of sweetness and femininity to something classic and cozy. This bow tie sweater from J.Crew sold out so quickly (I’m hoping they will restock!), but luckily these sweaters have become such a hot trend, there are plenty of other options like this one from Alice + Olivia, 7 For All Mankind, Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors.
