Trench & Tulle Combo

I am a single mom the rest of the week so the weekend (when daddy gets back) cannot come soon enough. Its funny because its always just me and Jaxson most days, but there is a safety knowing that I can call the hubbs if anything comes up. When he’s traveling, I almost feel alone. And I start thinking about random bad things that could happen, like….whose gonna change my tire if I have a flat? Or, the pipes burst and we have a flood in the house? So random, I know. I realize the feeling of security is all within your mind and thoughts. But let’s pray that none of these bad things happen anyway. :)

Two classics items I have multiples of in my closet are a trench style jacket and tulle skirt. Ok, so maybe the second one is not necessarily considered a classic closet staple, but it really should be. Tulle can be dressed up, dressed down and mixed in so many fun ways. This tulle skirt with a tiered hem definitely definitely has a wear-to-work sophistication but also a night out sexiness. In black, a tulle skirt is an easy way to add a fun and whimsical element to any look. I am planning to style this skirt with a grey tee and denim jacket next!
