The hubbs returned after a longer biz trip in time for the weekend. It was also nice because it was a three-day weekend! We wanted to catch up with date night on Friday, but had one drink at a local restaurant and decided we wanted to come home and drink wine and catch up on our fave shows – I usually save the shows we watch together if he’s traveling. It was loud and crowded so our couch was very appealing at that point.
On Sunday, we also drove up to Manhattan Beach to have lunch! It was a beautiful January day in Cali – partly cloudy, 65 and breezy. Seriously the best. We stumbled on a cute plaza/shopping center (not sure what you call it) called the Point and it was so cute. Good restaurants (True Foods, North Italia as well as others) and shops. I love the outdoor area too. So good for kids, especially our little one who cannot be contained for a minute. He has to be exploring something!
The rest of the weekend, we just hung out and did the usual things (errands, house work and church).
I pretty much wore this burgundy coat all weekend! I love the wrap shoulder structure. Such a fun twist to a classic coat. I know its not really that cold, but we Californians bust out our coats and rain boots when the temps drop below 70. True story!
