2021 is in full swing and if there is one thing I am taking from 2020 it is my love and appreciation for Walmart+. If you remember, I shared my first experience with the Walmart+ membership in November, and since then they’ve come out with more member benefits.
First and foremost, Walmart+ has convenient and free shipping! Errands and children have always been a tough task, but Walmart+ has made shopping so much easier. In December, the superstore introduced Walmart+ free shipping from Walmart.com with no order minimum (excludes freight & Marketplace items). This means my membership no longer has an order requirement on two-day & next-day shipping on items shipped by Walmart, no matter my cart total. How amazing is that!
For $98 per year (or $12.95 per month), the convenience factor of this new kind of membership makes it more than worth it to this busy mama. It practically pays for itself in just a couple deliveries (based on the $7.95 delivery fee)!
If you’re wondering what I’ve been getting at Walmart. The answer is EVERYTHING. Walmart has become my one-stop shop for pantry essentials, kids necessities and seasonal must-haves. My latest delivery included winter cold/flu season remedies like teas and over-the-counter medication. Additionally, Valentine’s day is coming up and I started stocking on goodies for the kiddos, classroom treats and sweet treats. And I couldn’t help but grab a red teddy bear as a fun festive gift for the house! It is so nice to be able to get my household items and add a few toys for the boys all at one store, rather than driving and shopping around for hours. Whose got the time nowadays!
Other benefits to note include member prices on fuel at Walmart, Sam’s Club and Murphy’s stations, and of course, free delivery from your local Walmart store. Groceries, gadgets, and so much more delivered as soon as same day ($35 minimum. Restrictions apply)!
With all this extra time and money I’m saving, I can definitely afford to spend some quiet time to enjoy my coffee in the mornings. Thanks Walmart!
