3 Summer Essentials with Marks & Spencer

The summer is in full swing now, and I’ve been enjoying it completely with pool days, outdoor BBQs and endless cockatiel hours on the patio. I have definitely enjoyed every minute of it. With my calendar full of summer happenings, the last thing I want to worry about is attire. I mean, who’s got time for that when the California sun is calling, right? So I usually keep my style pretty simple and just make sure I have all the basics to pull out anytime we are in the mood for happy hour or something fun.

This year, embroidered dresses are a must-have! Maxi, short, flowy or whatever the silhouette, an embroidered dress is the perfect summer staple. Grab a dress with some light embroidery for any occasion and instantly look chic. The details also oozes warm weather bohemian vibes, which I always love. This navy shift dress is perfect to transition from beach day to sunset dinners.

The other piece I always have on hand during the summer is a good LBD (little white dress). Specifically, I love lace dresses! It is a classic essential that can be dressed up or dressed down. I would definitely pull it out with heels for a summer soiree, or sandals and a wide brim hat for a more casual luncheon by the Ocean.

And last but certainly not least, sandals, sandals and more sandals. You can’t have enough during the warm season. I actually keep a couple pairs in my car in various colors just in case of any fashion needs.
