I am a big fan of Spring and all its trends. Feminine florals, pastel colors, girlie girl dresses, romantic textures like ruffles & pleats and so much more to fall in love with. Currently, I have the biggest crush on 3 of the season’s trends: floral dresses, pink and lace-up! And I happen to be wearing them all in this look! 🙂
Floral is a definite indiction of the season. Blooms are popping up everywhere this time of year, and it just makes sense it ends up in your wardrobe as well. I always add a few floral dresses to my collection every year and this gorgeous dress from Anthropologie is my favorite investment of the season. It oozes bohemian vibes but with a modern twist in this high-low structure. I, of course, belt it to give myself a little more shape. I wore it on Easter Sunday to church and received so many compliments on it, especially the color. The rich yellow hue can take me all to way to Fall. I may throw on a denim jacket to dress it down a bit next time around. Needless to say, I will be totally overdoing the floral dress trend.
Favorite color you ask? Well pink of course! I love every shade to the color (if you couldn’t tell already), but I am especially drawn to the season’s softer side in blush tones and pastels. With this ensemble, I added pink accents with the clutch and shoes. It also helps bring out the rosy colors in the floral designs!
Speaking of the shoes, these L.K. Bennett heels are definitely on point for the season. It encompasses so many of the feminine details I love – the color, the scallop edges and especially the lace-up. The delicate laces are so sexy yet elegant around the ankle, which can easily take me from day to night.
