Happy Monday all! I’m just getting back into the swing of things after NYFW. I got back a week ago but it feels like I’m experiencing the longest hangover ever. ha! And it doesn’t help that I have to step into mom and family life without skipping a beat. So its taking me a bit to catch up! This week I’ll have my NYFW looks up, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, I’m back to basics. And by basics I mean the two things I wear CONSTANTLY – neutrals and stripes. Spend any time perusing through my Instagram or if you’ve been following the blog awhile, then you know these are the two things I wear year round.
I was immediately drawn to this stripe top and tan skirt. They can be paired together or with just about everything else in my closet. And I don’t discriminate in color (stripes) or length (skirt). Coming off Summer though, I am really loving the light blue stripes. I really get so many compliments when I wear this Marks & Spencer top. I think the bow detail makes it unique and gives it an extra something!
This skirt is about 4 years old, and I never put it away in my “last season” section of my closet. I have literally worn it in the Winter with boots, Spring with espadrilles, Summer with sandals, and now Fall with a chunky heel. It is definitely one of my best fashion investments. I am sure you will see more of this skirt soon!
