10 Things Thursday + Gingham Ruffles

Starting a new series this month called 10 Things Thursdays! Amber Fillerup does a “12 Things” post where she shares just random things and I love it.  Its such a fun post and great way to get to know someone in just a few snippets of random info.  I don’t know if I can come up with 12 things so, here’s 10…. 🙂

  1. It’s International Women’s Day!  Sending love and kisses to all my wonderful women in my life.  I am particularly inspired by all the working mamas and mompenuers out there who take care of their families and….take care of business! :).
  2. We have had 2 full weeks of nobody getting sick, which is a huge win!  I feel like we’ve been taking turns getting sick right after another since October!
  3. I’m planning another baby shower!  Showers are so fun to plan.  I co-hosted a friends shower a few weeks ago and have another one coming up in a couple months.  I have so many ideas and usually over commit myself in my head, so I’m trying not to go overboard so I don’t have to pull all nighters leading up to the shower.  But dang, Pinterest really reels you in!
  4. I’m still happy and pleasantly surprised at how fun my spontaneous trip to Vegas was last weekend!  The drive was the best part.  I got to listen to audiobooks, listen to music and sit in peace and quiet for miles!
  5. The audiobook I was listening to is Grace, not Perfection by Emily Ley.
  6. This week I’ve been binge-watching Versailles season 2!  I’m obsessed with it.
  7. I recently found an obsessions with mules.  And stocked up like there was going to be some kind of mule drought. ha! I bought these white with a block heel, these white flats, these black suede ones, and THESE pink beauties!!!
  8. John gets back today after almost two straight weeks of travel (he came home for 12 hours last week!).  It was will be nice to have a chill weekend and just catch up on family time.
  9. I think I’m going to start BBG again. I’ve started and stopped it so many times, opting for pilates classes instead. But its getting increasingly harder to get to classes, so I need a better at-home workout option.
  10. This ruffled top is pretty bold, and I love it! I wore it last week and got a lot of compliments an also “huh” looks. ha!  I’m all about classic staples in my closet, but sometimes I like to keep them all guessing.  😉 The gingham print and fun ruffles will be perfect for Spring!
